About Me
Hi my name is Wayne Thoden and I make web sites among other things. I am a freelance web and graphic designer from New York; I am also a writer, photographer and an artist. Art and design have always been a passion and technology has always fascinated me. So it seems kind of natural that I kill two birds with one stone so to speak and help people get a web presence through state of the art technology, software and creative design work.
I specialize in web sites for gymnastics schools and athletes trying to get a web presence or web resume for college recruiters, and stand-up comics, but that is not to say that is all I do I have created web sites for artists, photographers and businesses as well.
I have been a working artist for most of my life and started dabbling in photography way back in high school with a film camera, yup that’s right film, but now I shoot digital it’s a bit more immediate. I received a bachelor’s degree in web site design and multimedia from Westwood College and am fairly skilled with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign XHTML, and CSS and a few other programs, although my education never stops as I try to stay abreast of everything new as life is one big learning experience.
As far as the personal stuff goes I was a stand-up comic for more than 15 years and I enjoy making people laugh, I also worked for the Department of Defense for many years on various military projects.
